Meld has spent nearly a decade focusing on the custom manufacturing of modern and sustainable concrete products for high impact working, living and entertaining environments. In an effort to scale our brand and simplify the specification, bidding and installation processes, Meld has developed a slab production program for their latest offerings, ecoX, micro and Xposed. This program follows the same traditional models found in the natural stone, engineered quartz and other eco-friendly countertop industries. As a result Meld’s pre-manufactured countertop & slab program removes the uncertainty from the specification process.

Fabricators:
Meld currently offers ecoX, micro and Xposed materials in slab ready form that are fabricated similarly to natural stone, engineered quartz, agglomerates and other cement based/recycled glass slab goods. Traditional tooling and fabrication techniques that follow current MIA Standards and Guidelines are highly recommended. Slabs are readily available in six standard colors and a standard slab size of 30” x 96” x 1.5” thick. Tailored to produce minimal waste, standardized slabs accommodate most countertop installations. For slab sizes that fall outside of the standard footprint, custom slabs are available upon request (up-charges and extended lead-times will apply.)

Our slabs are smaller therefore a waste reduction of roughly 25% is common for typical countertop installations when compared to competitive slab countertop materials, i.e., natural stone, engineered quartz, and other cement & recycled glass composites.
